How much does bridal blouse stitching and Aari work cost at JJ DESIGNS?
At JJ DESIGNS Bridal Studio, we offer two transparent pricing models: (1) Stitching & Aari Hand Embroidery Only (when you provide the saree fabric): basic Aari work starts from ₹1,200 to ₹1,800, while intricate heavy bridal zardozi and kemp work ranges from ₹2,400 to ₹6,500+. (2) Complete Ready-to-Wear Bridal Blouse (fabric provided by JJ DESIGNS): including pure raw silk, Kanchipuram brocade, or velvet, prices range from ₹2,600 to ₹12,000+. All blouses include padded cups, breathable pure cotton lining, and 2-inch alteration margins.
How many weeks in advance should I place my bridal blouse or gown order?
We recommend ordering 3 to 6 weeks in advance of your wedding, engagement, or reception date. This allows ample time for custom motif tracing, intricate hand embroidery, garment construction, and an in-person trial fitting. Can I bring my own wedding saree or fabric to your Kattakada atelier?
Yes, absolutely. Most of our brides bring their wedding saree and blouse material. Designer Jishma Jayaprakash personally inspects the saree border, motifs, and zari tone under natural daylight to design necklines and embroidery patterns that complement your jewelry and overall bridal aesthetic.
Does JJ DESIGNS design Christian bridal gowns and western reception dresses?
Yes. We design custom Christian bridal gowns, reception dresses, and contemporary ethnic gowns. From ball gowns and romantic A-lines to minimalist satin gowns with cathedral veils, we customize every piece to your preferred silhouette, lace border, and church guidelines.
Do you offer virtual bridal consultations and shipping for NRI brides?
Yes. JJ DESIGNS frequently works with NRI brides across the UAE, UK, US, Australia, and other Indian states. We conduct detailed virtual consultations over WhatsApp video calls, provide an easy-to-follow measurement chart, share progress photos and videos of your embroidery, and ship finished bridal garments securely via international courier.
Where is JJ DESIGNS Bridal Studio located and what are your studio hours?
Our studio is located in Killy, Kattakada, Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala 695572, India (near Killy Junction). We are open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM IST (closed on Sundays). We welcome walk-in visits and prior appointment bookings.
What happens if I gain or lose weight before my wedding date?
Every blouse and gown tailored at JJ DESIGNS is crafted with built-in 2-inch interior side margins and multi-hook adjustments. We also schedule a trial fitting 1 to 2 weeks before your wedding date to make any final micro-adjustments for an absolute custom fit.
